Burntisland Links Play Area Consultation
Overview
Burntisland Links is getting a play refurbishment, and we need you to help us make sure that the new facilities meet the needs of local people and visitors to the area.
The current splashpad has reached the end of its safe operational life. This gives us the opportunity to replace it with a play facility that can be used all year round.
The existing play areas are not being removed. Careful consideration has been given to go in this direction. Some key considerations have been:
- Cost
- Environmental Impact
- Access to play
Read more about the rationale for the play areas.
We have drawn up two play space options where the splash pad is currently located.
Please use the form below to tell us which one you prefer and what play equipment would be most enjoyed by you and your family.

As well as the online consultation form, there will be paper copies available for those who can’t get online at the Beacon Leisure Centre and Burntisland Library/Customer Service Point. Completed forms can be returned to these venues.

We will publish the outcome of the survey and next steps on this page. Anyone who has provided their email address will be contacted directly to let them know they are available.
We will also promote the outcome of the survey and next steps on social media (Facebook), online (www.fife.gov.uk/news) and through the local media.
A final design will be prepared for the site by the end of September 2024.
