Play area at Droverhall or Mossgreen - You choose

Overview

Fife council has some funding availible to upgrade one play park in the Droverhall area.

This means the local community gets to choose whether this should be in the exisiting play park at Droverhall Avenue OR at Mossgreen.

If you choose DROVERHALL: this would involve the installation of new play equipment at this location, leaving Mossgreen as a useable greenspace, as it is currently.

If you choose MOSSGREEN: Play equipment will be installed on the current greenspace and the play equipment at Droverhall will remain in place until it is time to remove it due to disrepair and/or old age.  We will need to reassess how the community uses the space.

Regardless of which site is chosen the delivery of new equipment wont be effected.

Once the site is agreed by the local community, Fife Council will then run further consultation to work with you to decide on the specific equipment for the playpark.

Why your views matter

We want to ensure that the play spaces we are providing meet the needs of the local community.  Local knowledge is key to us making the decision that is appropriate to the area.
