Overview

Fife People's Panel Survey 38 - Our Place 2025

This survey is based around the Place Standard Tool, used to evaluate the quality of a place. It consists of questions which cover both the physical and social elements of a place, to paint a picture of the local area.

We have asked these questions in previous years, which gave us a good overview of what the 'Place' issues were for different areas of Fife.

To help us understand how local places in Fife are changing over time, we need your views to ensure that Fife and local community plans reflect what really matters to the people living and working in the area.

Online survey

Please answer this survey with your local neighbourhood in mind, but think about the wider town / area it sits within, or through a climate lens, such as what  would a net zero, or a climate resilient place look like, if it helps you to answer the questions. Everyone will have their own idea about what their "local neighbourhood" is - but it's usually regarded as anything within a 15 minute walk from your home.

If there are questions you don't feel you can answer - for example, if you don't use public transport - please just leave them blank.

The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
