Gourlay Street Play Area

Overview

Fife Council are proposing to carry out a full refurbishment of Gourlay Street play area in Kirkcaldy. Some items of play equipment have already been removed from service, with the remaining equipment now nearing the end of its serviceable life and requiring replacement to ensure the play area remains safe, accessible and enjoyable for local children.

A replacement play area design has been developed which provides a range of play opportunities for children and young people of different ages and abilities. The proposed design includes a mix of active, social and inclusive play equipment, as shown in the images.
