Overview

In 2024 Fife Council proposed to establish a new Additional Support Class (ASC) provision within Strathallan Primary School from Monday 18 August 2025.

A public consultation regarding the proposals took place from Tuesday 7 January 2025 until Friday 21 February 2025 with the consultation period covering 31 school days.  Consultation took place via an electronic survey open to all, pupil consultation sessions and public events.

The proposal was considered and approved at The Cabinet Committee on 29 May 2025.  This means the New Additional Support Class will be effective from Monday 18 August 2025.
